STRUT THE HOOCH is an annual Spring event sponsored by Uptown Columbus, Inc. It is a parade of absolute silliness! The 5th annual STRUT THE HOOCH Parade will kick off on Saturday April 6th, 2019 at 9:30AM EST at the Springer Theater. Parade route is along Broadway, between 10th and 13th Street, and then back again, so line up on either side, or the middle, of Broadway for an amazing view of our wacky participants (and be perfectly placed for fun swag!! Participants can be individuals, musicians, floats, animals, groups, and unicorns. Once you're registered, join our Facebook Group: STRUT THE HOOCH Parade Group for Participants and receive important announcements and exchange of ideas. Participants should plan on arriving between 8:45 and 9:00AM EST at the 10th St entrance to the Springer for parade formation instructions. If you can think it, you can join us. It is a family event however, so keep it modest. Participation is open to the public and On-Line Registration is free starting about two months before the Parade. COME JOIN US AND GET YOUR WACKY ON! An Uptown Columbus event to kick off the Market Days season, and in conjunction with Art Beat, a week long celebration involving over 20 Columbus Arts organizations.
